Hi, I'm Pit, a professional drummer from Cologne, Germany.
I specialize in Pop, Pop-Punk and Hip-Hop drumming but also love to dive into other genres like Metalcore. Since starting out in 2005 I have worked with various artists in different genres and have since found a niche for myself. The genres I work in often require me to go beyond playing just acoustic drums. I take care of playback tracks or add electronic samples to get the most out of the performance. These additions require careful preparation and are often essential for professional live shows.By creating various records but also a lot of videos I provide a lot of experience in recording drums. I record myself at least twice a week. This constantly forces me to reevaluate my playing. At the end of the day a good and consistent recording helps me save time in mixing later on. I mix the drums for these videos myself.
Here are some artists I've worked with since 2024Kaff Panda (Pop-Punk)
Blue Friend (Indie Pop)
Headed Nowhere (Metalcore)
T.O.Y. (Synth Pop)
Story Rewind (Pop-Punk)
Story About You (Pop-Punk)
Holiday Resort (Pop-Punk)
Child of Caesar (Goth Metal)
DidiCals (Alternative)
Over two years ago I started creating two weekly videos in order to display my style, skill and creativity. While doing this I like to explore various different genres. As a part of this I started a series where I add drums to songs that don't have any. This sets a challenge to myself because I need to find the balance between adding something interesting but also not overdoing it. In the end it needs to fit the song as if the part was written for it. This is also the reason why you barely see me "showing off" in my videos. While some people may think "oh he is just playing a boring beat" others may look at the details and find some interesting subtleties.
While I focus mostly on drumming I also write songs myself. Here are some records I played drums on and also recorded in my Studio space. I chose these records because no samples were used. The Songs "Moon" and "Lost Ground" were also written by me.
This is my most frequently used gear. If you have questions about gear that's not listed here don't hesitate to ask. Some pieces change depending on the necessity of the artist and I'll always try to fulfill your needs.
